Random Ramblings

I finally gave in and joined Farmville on Facebook...and it is sucking up alot of my time...but I love every second of it.

We get free lunch tomorrow at work to celebrate the end of Summer and (really) the end of us being short staffed due to covering off others holidays...YAY!!!

The boy is really enjoying 3rd grade...and I'm so happy about that! On the down side, somehow his teacher managed to misplace all of his school supplies...we dropped them off 2 days before school started at the parent/teacher meeting and somehow in the first week of school they vanished. Here's to hoping she finds them...I spent hours labelling everything so it's not like they don't have his name on it.

The boy decided sometime last week that he wants to be a scientist when he grows up. Though he's not sure what kind of scientist and is on a mission to figure out what interests him most. It's pretty ironic since when the boyfriend and I first got together (2.5 years ago) the boy thought a scientist was an insult because they are nerdy and they used to make fun of each other by calling each other scientists...now he wants to be one when he grows up...oh how things change lol.

My mom is visiting and arrives tomorrow...it'll be a quick visit since she's only staying with me Thursday and Friday night.

I am addicted to America's Next Top Model and am sooooooooo excited it's on again tonight.

So that's what's going on in my world...what's new with you?

People keep telling me I should try farmville. lol. I'm always playing word twist, lexulous and now, recently, farkle! (which makes me say FARKLE! instead of, well, the OTHER F word. lol ;) )

glad you're doing well.

Lmao, Leland's dad is addicted to farmville too. It's so funny. I swear he thinks it's a real farm!

Boo for teachers losing things!

I've been able to stay away from those games so far. I find Facebook addictive enough without any help!

I love America's Next Top Model too. Sometimes I get aggravated when my husband gets home before it's on and I "have" to hang out with him rather than watch it!

I am so out of the loop, I don't even *know* what Farmville is! Sad, I realize. This was our first week of homeschool, and it feels like we are going, going, going all day long! On the positive side, my day seems ten times longer . . . or is that a negative?

It's cool that your kid wants to become a scientist and you're supportive of it. I told my mom that I wanted to be a teletubby when I was 5 and she was not pleased.

You were not kidding, we do have a lot in common. I can't believe you call your son THE BOY. LOL the BF gave my son that name. lol I'm so becoming a follower and adding you to my blog roll. I'm sure were gonna have similar adventures.

My son is in the 4th grade, he's 9 yrs old. He's a total brat, yet can be sweet when he wants to be. Most of the time he is a brat because he knows he can pretty much get away with being a brat around me only. Everyone else he listens to just not me. It's my fault though. grrr

I look forward to reading more of your posts!!
